Twinsburg, Ohio-based Experient, which provides integrated meeting and event solutions, and Philadelphia-based StarCite, which offers Web-based technology for corporate meetings and events, on Wednesday launched MeetingComplete, providing integrated meetings management services to small and mid-size companies. The program combines Experient's Strategic Meetings Management strategy and sourcing services with StarCite's meetings management technology platform. SMM programs yield savings of 15 to 25 percent, although small and mid-size companies typically lack the internal resources needed to effectively implement a program, according to StarCite's client research. MeetingComplete aims to fill that niche by designing and implementing SMM policy, centralizing sourcing and purchasing, facilitating data consolidation, standardizing attendee management and delivering consolidated reporting. "This solution is specifically designed for small to medium-sized organizations with at least $1 million in total meeting spend and who want to be up and running and realize cost savings as soon as possible," said Rick Binford, CMP, president of the Event Management Services division of Experient.
