According to the American Hotel & Lodging Association, the Department of Justice has extended the Americans With Disabilities compliance date for existing pools and spas to add accessible entries. Hotels were supposed to bring their pools up to compliance by last March 15; the date has been extended to Jan. 31, 2013. "The extension is fair and sensible, and the lodging industry supports it," said AH&LA President/CEO Joe McInerney.
