In the June Business Barometer, a bimonthly survey of 300 senior-level industry professionals from Meeting Professionals International, 72 percent of respondents said business conditions are improving compared with 2010. Among other findings: 60 percent of participants have changed the way their business operates because of rising travel costs. The highest number (48 percent) are seeing no change in their meetings budgets, while the budgets of 36 percent are increasing somewhat.
