Meeting Professionals International's bimonthly economic report, the Business Barometer, shows the top issue on meeting planner's minds still is short lead times. The study also found meeting attendance continues to improve slowly, while spending per meeting is declining slightly. Employment in the industry, which took a big jump in the June report, continues this trend. The full report is available at no cost for MPI members here; nonmembers can buy the report for $25.
