Northstar Meetings Group, in partnership with Bear Analytics, has launched an interactive version of Meetings & Conventions' biennial salary survey
enabling meeting planners to set personal parameters to view salary ranges and job satisfaction for specific job types, geographical regions and much more.
Salary Survey, conducted every other year, provides an important benchmark for the industry, not only with respect to pay, but also job satisfaction, benefits, budgets, hours worked and more," said Loren Edelstein, editor in chief for Meetings & Conventions
. "The interactive dashboard lets you play with the numbers for deeper insights into the raw data."
Sponsored by the Myrtle Beach Area Convention and Visitors Bureau, the interactive dashboard was developed by Bear Analytics and includes the complete findings published in the September 2016 issue of M&C.
"It was a pleasure for Bear Analytics to partner with M&C on this year's survey results," said Joe Colangelo, CEO for Bear Analytics. "This initial project was focused on Increasing the transparency across a very robust data set that is clearly showing steady but consistent improvement in meeting planner salaries and general work-life balance."
