The Las Vegas-based International School of Hospitality will unveil its new special-events design lab this month, providing students with experience working with veteran events producers on the Las Vegas Strip. The director of events at MGM Resorts Event Productions, Lenny Talarico, will oversee creative designs at the lab. The lab itself is an ever-changing event space, with an initial design that incorporates donations from local partners MGM Resorts Event Productions, Chameleon Chair, Classic Party Rentals, Kool Party Rentals, Creative Coverings and Earth Water Sky. "This is an extraordinary resource for our students," said TISOH executive director Timothy M. Lam. "This provides them a real-world experience, where they can learn from the best in the business how to effectively create and design world-class meetings and events."
