The cookbook shares local recipes -- ranging from  traditional Cuban sandwich at Florida's oldest restaurant to cutting-edge culinary combinations -- curated by the destination's best chefs, along with essays by top food writers.
"This amazing publication immerses readers in the unique, intricate mix of flavors and cultures that swirl together in Tampa Bay," said Santiago C. Corrada, president and CEO of Visit Tampa Bay. "Within its pages, you'll find time-tested classics, such as the 113-year-old Columbia Restaurant's arroz con pollo, side-by-side with visionary creations by recent James Beard nominees such as Ferrell Alvarez at Rooster & The Till, recently named Tampa Bay's top restaurant by the Tampa Bay Times."
"We embarked on this journal as a way to bring the incredible culinary creativity and rich cultural treasures of Florida's Most dynamic destination to travelers the world over," said Patrick Harrison, chief marketing officer of Visit Tampa Bay. "The most authentic version of any community is found on its dining tables. There's no better way to really discover a destination that through its food. When you open this book, you're holding our entire community in your hand."
