Catherine Cumings

Catherine Cumings is the new director of sales and marketing for the 156-room Pelican Grand Beach Resort in Fort Lauderdale.

As a Fort Lauderdale insider, what offbeat activity would you recommend to visitors?
The city has an amazing Sunday Jazz Brunch in our Riverwalk district. You can bring your own picnic basket, blanket or chairs along with champagne or whatever you like. There are three stages of incredible jazz musicians, and the event is free. It takes place every first Sunday of the month, and the view is incredible as you see the yachts go by. Locals love this!
