David Gabri

David Gabri is the CEO of Associated Luxury Hotels International. This wide-ranging consortium of high-end properties is celebrating its 30th anniversary this year.

What is the biggest change you've seen in the meetings industry over the past 30 years?
Meetings, conventions and incentive travel programs have become much more global over the last three decades. In response, we have found that a widely expanded domestic and global portfolio best serves our accounts' growing requirements for their variety of programs and desired destinations.

David Berkoski, CMM, has been hired as national accounts director for the 1,054-room Boston Park Plaza. Berkoski has more than 27 years of experience in hotel sales, marketing and operations management.

Texas-based hospitality management company Benchmark Hospitality International has named Thomas Faust vice president, sales, a position he most recently held at Omni Hotels & Resorts.
Frederick G. Houben

Frederick G. Houben has been hired as director of sales and marketing at the 358-room Lodge of Four Seasons on the Lake of the Ozarks in Missouri. Houben formerly was regional director of sales and marketing for Warwick International Hotels.
Cathy Jones

The 301-room Renaissance World Golf Village Resort and Convention Center in St. Augustine, Fla., has hired Cathy Jones as national sales manager. Prior to this, she was director of sales and marketing for the Lajitas Golf Resort in Terlingua, Texas.
Caroline MacDonald

The Rosewood Hotel Group has appointed Caroline MacDonald vice president of sales and marketing, Americas and Europe. She previously served as chief marketing officer for Auberge Resorts.
Trese Moser

The 943-room Town and Country Resort & Convention Center in San Diego has appointed Trese Moser, CMP, general manager of its 200,000-square-foot convention facility, leading a staff of 102.
Delfin Ortiz Omni

In Austin, Texas, the 309-room Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa has hired Delfin Ortiz as resort manager. Ortiz, a 23-year veteran with Omni Hotels & Resorts, previously served as GM of the Omni Berkshire Place in New York City.
Nathalie Urban

The 156-room W Retreat & Spa, Vieques Island, in Puerto Rico, has named Nathalie Urban general manager. With more than 20 years of hotel experience, Urban most recently served as GM of the Presidente InterContinental Cancún Resort in Mexico.
