Most meeting professionals give their companies high marks on important factors like a clear corporate mission and flexible work environment. But the biggest influencer of professional satisfaction is enjoyment of the job itself, followed by management recognition, according to a recent M&C poll. While 41 percent would like to keep their current jobs “as long as possible,” expect to see some movement when the job market improves. In better times, nearly one-third of respondents would “definitely” be looking for a new position, and another 31 percent would consider exploring their options.
