Meeting and incentive planning firm Bishop-McCann has acquired event agency ASE Group. The move is aimed at expanding Bishop-McCann's offerings for clients creating incentive programs and corporate events -- particularly in the franchise industry, an area where ASE Group has shown particular strength since its founding more than 30 years ago.

"Bringing more innovation to our clients and the industry is our top priority," said Bishop-McCann CEO Rob Adams, who also serves on the Meetings Professional International Board of Trustees and was one of Northstar Meetings Group's Top 25 Influencers in the Meetings Industry in 2019. "This acquisition allows us to continue delivering our boutique client experience while providing increased value to all of our clients across all industries."

ASE has specialized in franchise, dealer, direct sales and retail conferences and incentives, and focuses on delivering events that provide clients with a return on their investment -- attributes that attracted Bishop-McCann. Both organizations are based in Kansas City, Mo.

"Our team's unique talent and expertise, combined with Bishop-McCann's award-winning approach and global resources, will further enhance the wealth of capabilities and solutions offered to our clients," added ASE founder and CEO Bonnie Siegel. "This is a great opportunity for our team, our clients and the future of the industry."
