Sales and marketing services firm Maritz laid off an estimated 100 employees on Monday as part of a restructuring, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. A spokesperson for the company said, "Maritz is reorganizing its employees into independently run business units that are nimble and can react quickly." The privately held company has approximately 3,400 employees worldwide; the cuts mainly affected employees based in the St. Louis headquarters.
