The Center for Exhibition Industry Research released a report providing insights on the top factors that contribute to attendee loss in order to help organizers prioritize their resources. The top-ranked reasons, according to the study, are:
• Inconvenience of the event's location;
• Cost of attending the event;
• Inconvenience of the event's dates, and
• Educational offerings did not meet needs.
CEIR surveyed 421 delegates to compile the report. Members of the International Association of Exhibitions and Events can access the study at no cost here. The cost is $49 for nonmembers.
