 The 2011 International Consumer Electronics Show broke attendance records, according to an independent audit by Veris Consulting. The January show welcomed 149,529 attendees, which included a record 31,677 from outside the United States, up 30 percent from the previous year and the most in the show's 45-year history. The show took place Jan. 6-9 in Las Vegas and featured an estimated 20,000 new products being launched across more than 1.6 million square feet of exhibit space. More than 2,700 exhibiting companies attended, and delegates represented 140 countries.
