 The Center for Exhibition Industry Research reports the overall exhibition industry fell for a third straight year in 2010, seeing a decline of 2.4 percent. Revenue saw the largest drop, falling 8.4 percent, although attendance, the leading indicator of growth for the exhibition industry, increased by 2.4 percent. The CEIR Index measures year-over-year changes in net square footage purchased, attendance, revenue and the number of exhibiting companies.
