IMEX America has announced a new alliance partner, Destination Marketing Association International. According to the two entities, the new partnership will allow IMEX America, taking place at the Sands Expo, Las Vegas, Oct. 11-13, 2011, to roll out a series of pre-show marketing campaigns to a large, qualified database of meetings industry professionals. Michael Gehrisch, DMAI's president and CEO, said in a statement, "We anticipate that IMEX America will continue to provide the same level of valuable global business opportunities our DMO members have come to expect when exhibiting at IMEX in Frankfurt. It will also assist our members in expanding their global reach through direct access to a new customer base."
