Medical Exchange, a new provider of medical education events, announced yesterday the launch of the CollaborativeCARE Conference, or, simply, "C3." The first event is scheduled for Nov. 15-20, 2011, in Long Beach, Calif., to be followed by additional conferences in 10 cities by 2013. The new conference model aims to provide unbiased continuing medical education through regional events to specialists, primary-care practitioners, patients and their families. All educational content will be developed and overseen by Lighthouse Learning, an independent provider of medical education for physicians. Medical Exchange executives will offer turnkey booth solutions at an integrated trade show to exhibitors such as pharmaceutical companies, diagnostic equipment, health information, medical technology, hospital networks and managed-care organizations.
