The Center for Exhibition Industry Research released an update to its popular 2012 study, How the Exhibitor Dollar Is Spent. Exhibit space costs take up the largest piece of the exhibitor's budget (39 percent), followed by travel & entertainment (14 percent); show services (11 percent); exhibit design, including graphics (11 percent); shipping/transport of exhibit materials (9 percent); on-site promotional materials (5 percent); off-show-floor promotional expenses (3 percent); on-site sponsorship/advertising (3 percent); pre-show promotions (2 percent); lead management & measurement (2 percent), and exhibit-staff training (1 percent).
