A pulse survey conducted for the Exhibition and Convention Executives Forum reveals better news for exhibitions in 2010. When asked about changes in the size of their events over the previous year, respondents (221 independent and association event producers) reported growth in the following areas: number of exhibiting companies (up for 44 percent of those polled), number of attendees (up for 49 percent) and sponsorship sales (increasing for 49 percent). In terms of net square feet sold, 35 percent of respondents said the total is growing, while 40 percent said it would remain the same.  The study was conducted online last month.
