Global Ground Automation, a subsidiary of travel procurement technology provider Rearden Commerce, unveiled Group Ground this week, an online tool through which event organizers will be able to book and manage all necessary ground transportation for a meeting's attendees. Among the tool's features are pre-venue-selection comparative pricing from preferred suppliers; optimized vehicle-sharing programs; the ability to mass load reservations from group manifests; the ability to manage changes or cancellations directly from the system; and complete ground expenditure cost-reporting capabilities. The solution will be available in September.
