Travel expense management provider AirPlus International announced Friday a new multinational alliance of card issuers and financial institutions, known as NextGen. Beginning this summer, Germany-based AirPlus, which is heading up the NextGen program, will work together with Spain's Banco Santander, France's BNP Paribas and Switzerland's UBS to offer a single-contact solution for clients using corporate cards, lodge cards (used for travel-related expenses) or management information systems associated with any of the above issuers. The partners, according to a statement from AirPlus, "guarantee consistent products and quality service for all of a customer's international branches." NextGen will offer a single point of contact for implementation, support and service.
