Carlson Wagonlit Travel on Wednesday debuted CWT Hotel Intel, a new hotel review site that allows managed travelers to share hotel ratings and information on a private, company-specific forum. The site is part of CWT Hotel 360, the travel management company's comprehensive hotel program management product. The platform can be set up to e-mail travelers automatically following a hotel stay, requesting feedback and a rating. Travelers also can post comments and photos, all of which are accessible only to their colleagues. CWT Hotel Intel also contains information about room availability, hotel facilities, and details about the negotiated rate and what amenities it includes. "The development of CWT Hotel Intel is very much aligned with the current trends we're seeing in the industry," said Patrice Simon, innovation leader at CWT. "Travelers increasingly use peer-group information to make decisions. We developed this exciting travel site that allows business travelers to share valuable information with their peers in a way that supports compliance with a company's travel policy." The new site is powered by travel-review technology company Vinivi.
