Center to Open Soon
The new $50 million LEED-certified Santa Fe Convention Center is on target to open downtown in August with approximately 40,000 square feet of event space and parking for 512 vehicles. The 157-room La Posada de Santa Fe Resort & Spa will wrap up a $5 million renovation this spring. Last September, the 219-room Eldorado Hotel & Spa finished a top-down $10.5 million renovation.
St. Louis, Mo.
This city has profited from the investment of more than $3.5 billion in economic development, including 2,600 new hotel rooms, over the past three years. Additional projects are on the way. Among them: The $240 million Ameristar Casino St. Charles, slated to open later this year, will include a 400-room luxury hotel and a 55,000-square-foot conference center. A 164-room Drury Inn & Suites opened this month. Lambert St. Louis International Airport breaks ground this summer on a
$105 million redesign.

A $138 million makeover of the Atlanta Marriott
Marquis, the city’s largest hotel, is wrapping up. New features
include the Pulse cocktail lounge, a sports bar, 11,000 square feet
of meeting space and touch-ups to all 1,663 guest rooms. This July,
a 6,000-square-foot health club and spa, a new 25,000-square-foot
