AZ, Sedona

Hotel: Hilton Sedona Resort & Spa. Renovations completed: March. Price tag: $4.2 million. Rooms: 219. Meeting space: 16,000 square feet. Key changes: Soft goods in all guest rooms were upgraded, and new equipment was added in the spa and fitness center.

CA, Monterey

Hotel: InterContinental The Clement Monterey. Opening: May. Rooms: 208. Meeting space: 15,000 square feet. Key features: The C Restaurant & Bar, a full-service spa, a fitness center and a VIP Kids Club with child-care services.

CA, San Francisco

Hotel: Parc 55 Hotel San Francisco. Renovations to be completed: later this year. Price tag: $30 million. Rooms: 1,010. Meeting space: 30,000 square feet. Key changes: All guest rooms, the lobby and Club Level facilities will be redone, and the property’s event space will expand to nearly 30,000 square feet.

CT, Mashantucket

Hotel: MGM Grand at Foxwoods. Opening: May. Rooms: 825. Meeting space: 115,000 square feet. Key features: a 4,000-seat theater, five restaurants, a 21,000-square-foot spa and two Rees Jones-designed golf courses.

IL, Chicago

Hotel: The Blackstone, A Renaissance Hotel. Reopened: March. Price tag: $128 million. Rooms: 332. Meeting space: 19,670 square feet. Key changes: a signature restaurant, and a street-level lounge and cafe, as well as the refurbished 3,430-square-foot Crystal Ballroom.

IN, Indianapolis

Hotel: Indianapolis Marriott Downtown. Renovations completed: March. Price tag: $9.5 million. Rooms: 622. Meeting space: 40,000 square feet. Key changes: Meeting space, public areas and guest rooms were redesigned.

NJ, Atlantic City

Hotel: Harrah’s Resort Atlantic City. Expansion opening: July. Price tag: $550 million. Rooms: 960 (2,590 total). Meeting space: 25,000 square feet. Key features: a 172,000-square-foot domed pool complex, several restaurants and an Elizabeth Arden Red Door Spa.

NY, Lake Placid

Hotel: The High Peaks Resort (formerly the Hilton Lake Placid). Renovations and rebranding to be completed: this summer. Rooms: 133. Meeting space: 10,000 square feet. Key changes: two new restaurants, a redesigned lobby, an expanded fitness center, upgraded guest rooms, a new spa and revamped meeting space.

PA, Pittsburgh

Hotel: Hyatt Regency Pittsburgh International Airport. Renovations completed: March. Price tag: $4 million. Rooms: 336. Meeting space: 20,000 square feet. Key changes: Guest rooms were outfitted with new carpeting, wall coverings and drapes; flat-panel HD televisions and iHome docking stations were added; and the hotel’s meeting space was refurbished.

TX, San Antonio

Hotel: Grand Hyatt San Antonio. Opened: March. Rooms: 1,003. Meeting space: 115,000 square feet. Key features: a restaurant and an amenity-rich 24-hour fitness center, with a Fitness Concierge and workout gear delivered to guest rooms.
