Business travel has endured despite rising costs, according to the fifth annual business travel survey conducted by an independent research firm for Embassy Suites Hotels. The February 2013 survey polled 700 adults in the United States who have taken at least one business trip in the past year, and found that 80 percent traveled at least as much over the past five years as they did previously, and 85 percent reported the travel to be more enjoyable than before.
