  • ATTENDANCE AT THE MOTIVATION SHOW, held in Chicago’s McCormick Place Oct. 9-11, was down an estimated 20 to 25 percent from the 21,052 people who were recorded for preregistration, according to show organizer Hall-Erickson Inc. A spokesperson said 3 percent of exhibitors dropped from the show after Sept. 11. Booths numbered 2,500 this year; last year’s total was 2,602.
  • FAIRMONT HOTELS & RESORTS fhas launched its own spa brand, Willow Stream, in four properties: The Fairmont Scottsdale (Ariz.) Princess, The Fairmont Empress (Victoria, British Columbia), The Fairmont Southampton Princess (Bermuda) and The Fairmont Acapulco Princess. In addition, the Solace Spa at The Fairmont Banff Springs (Alberta) will be rebranded a Willow Stream spa.
