The Incentive Marketing Association, based in Naperville, Ill., has launched two new strategic industry groups: the Incentive Travel Council and the Recognition Council.

The Dominican Brussels opened last month in the Belgian capital. The 150-room boutique property, a member of Design Hotels, has three meeting rooms.

The Mandarin Oriental St. Kitts will open in 2010. The 125-room property, on Majors Bay, will include a marina with docking for private yachts, a 15,000-square-foot spa and 18 holes of golf.

Maritz Inc., based in Fenton, Mo., has launched Maritz Motivation Insight, a new research tool to improve employee performance. The tool uses a web-based survey and other data to help companies offer recognition options tailored specifically to their employees.

Carlson Marketing, based in Minneapolis, has launched Engagement Builder, a research product to help companies tailor their meetings, incentives and events for their employees.
