A recent study from the Center for Exhibition Industry Research, What Attendees Want From Exhibitions, explored what motivates participants to go to a trade show. Among reasons for attending, 69 percent of the 421 respondents said they go to shop for products and services, while 66 percent intend to learn. The following chart shows the extent to which exhibitions generally meet attendees’ expectations.
