Outdoor events give planners the perfect excuse to save on F&B under the guise of nostalgia. For example, instead of serving a costly plated steak, set up a gourmet hot dog bar with all-beef or turkey dogs and low-fat chicken sausages. When served with locally made mustard spreads, chili and other creative toppings, who can resist?
