John Ayo, writer of the Travel Balance blog, says making your guest room a bit like home can help relieve travel stress and lead to a better night's sleep. Some suggestions:
• Bring pictures of loved ones and place them around the room;
• Pack a portable speaker (or use headphones) and listen to your own choice of relaxing music;
• Make the room smell better with a scent you love (see video);
• Unplug as many electronics as you can (to reduce "electrosmog"); and
• Consider packing your own set of sheets.
