Stressed-out travelers, including passengers with a fear of flying, are getting some help from their airlines. On a recent American Airlines flight, we noticed an interesting option in the seatback entertainment system: seven meditations from the Calm app, ranging from 5 to 20 minutes long. One of the offerings is the slumber-inducing Sleep Stories, which also are available on the app itself.

Another meditation app, Headspace, has partnered with a number of airlines to create an inflight meditation channel. The audio exercises are available on the following 11 carriers.
