These aquariums have transfixing “underwater” spaces that can buoy any event.

The Indianapolis Zoo (317-630-2014; www.indyzoo.com) has an underwater Dolphin Dome with an adjacent hall that’s available for up to 250 in the evenings. Spaces that look in on tanks are available at the Monterey Bay Aquarium (831-648-4928; www.mbayaq.org), the new Georgia Aquarium (404-581-4323; www.georgiaaquarium.org) and Chicago’s Shedd Aquarium (312-692-3273; www.sheddaquarium.org).
