With the onslaught of technology, managing a simple meeting can mean negotiating time at multiple sites, setting up videoconferencing and selecting software. These are some of the topics added to the second edition of Sharon M. Lippincott's Meetings: Do's, Don'ts and Donuts (Lighthouse Point Press, Pittsburgh, $16.95), which also addresses setting agendas and choosing refreshments. Why donuts? "Sharing food is one of the oldest ways of building bonds between people," Lippincott writes, and "people's eyes light up when they spot a tray of donuts."
