The 113-suite Cullen hotel opens today in Melbourne, Australia, featuring works by native artist Adam Cullen throughout the building. The property, which has a rooftop conference space, is the first of three Art Series Hotels opening in the city. The 239-room Olsen, named for painter John Olsen, opens in March with several meeting rooms and a glass-bottomed pool; and the 207-room Blackman, featuring paintings by Charles Blackman, opens in April. Conference space at all three hotels is designed for groups of up to 100.
