Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide and Hilton Worldwide are attempting to reach a settlement in the corporate espionage suit filed last spring by Starwood, according to The website cites a Nov. 16 court memo, filed by Starwood attorney Charles A. Gilman, requesting that a court meeting be postponed until mid-December, because "the parties have been exploring the possibility of settlement." Both Hilton and Starwood had no comment on the report.
