The 34-story, 1,005-room JW Marriott Indianapolis hotel topped off yesterday. The anchor of the five-hotel Marriott Place Indianapolis development, the property will be connected via sky bridge to the newly expanded Indiana Convention Center and will offer a total of 104,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 40,500-square-foot ballroom. A sports bar, an upscale Italian restaurant and a coffee bar will be available at the hotel, which will open in February 2011. Adjacent to the hotel is White River State Park, which includes the Indianapolis Zoo, the Eiteljorg Museum of American Indians and Western Art, the Indian State Museum and an outdoor concert space.
