Given the serious concerns about H1N1, it's wise to rethink food presentation. At receptions, avoid piles of foods that people reach into -- like tortilla chips and salsa or a fruit platter -- as well as foods that require messy maneuvering, like sushi served en masse. At dinner, choose plated meals over buffets if possible. And think carefully before bringing in a punch bowl or chocolate fountain.
