A ribbon-cutting and feng shui ceremony marked the opening of the 392-room Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas, on Friday in the town's new CityCenter development. The property was the second to open last week, following the 1,495-suite Vdara's Dec. 1 unveiling. The 47-story, nongaming Mandarin Oriental offers a number of dining options, including the French signature restaurant Twist by Pierre Gagnaire. Also on-site are  a two-story, 27,000-square-foot spa and more than 12,000 square feet of event space.
