Destination Marketing Association International has made its 2009 DMO Organizational & Financial Profile Study available for purchase. Conducted every two years, the study provides an analysis of organizational structures, funding resources, revenues and expenses for destination marketing organizations. Topics such as budget changes and reallocations in funding sources, including hotel taxes, have received particular emphasis. More than 240 DMOs from nine countries participated in the study, which is available for purchase here. The cost is $495 for members and $625 for nonmembers.
