The Stonebridge Companies paid $4.5 million this week for the Colorado National Bank building in Denver, which it plans to turn into a hotel. The 1920s-era building features 16 lobby murals by Colorado artist Allen Tupper True. The Englewood, Colo.-based development firm is considering adding floors to the six-story structure and is looking to open the property by 2012.
