When you're on vacation, do you check out
the hotel from a meetings perspective?
"Even on vacation it's hard to turn off completely! So I drag my family
through the meeting space, check out the hotel outlets and ask a few
questions of the concierge. I'm constantly running through the checklist
in my head."
"IACC only holds meetings at member conference centers, and usually I
vacation at resorts. However, out of curiosity I do check out a few
meeting rooms wherever I go -- though that's just one part of the
equation. You have to experience a facility from a planning and service
perspective to know whether a meeting there would be successful."
