The National Business Travel Association named three executive-level staff members to three new positions last week. The new job of chief technology officer will be filled by Edward Silver, a former partner in the consulting firm Hudson Crossing. Diane Young is the association's new vice president, finance, and controller. Previously, Young was the director of finance and administration for the American Industrial Hygiene Association. Joseph Bates steps in as director, research and project management; he served more than seven years as director of research at the Consumer Electronics Association. NBTA also announced the promotion of Sallie Dietz to director of human resources.
