With all the high-tech gadgets on the market, anyone can play James Bond. Business travelers and their secret-agent alter egos can stay connected to their e-mail accounts with BlackBerry wireless e-mail devices from Research In Motion. The handhelds come bundled with e-mail and organizer software, are available in two sizes, and have up to 5MB of memory. Optional software converts them into pagers and Web browsers. Compatible with Microsoft Outlook and Internet e-mail, they work with existing e-mail accounts. Using the included cradle and PUMATECH Intellisync software, the handhelds easily sync up with desktop PCs for more complicated save-the-world projects. The pager-size unit sells for $399; the PDA-size is $499.
