 What's your favorite team-building activity?

"I organized one activity in which the guests at each table had to build their own centerpiece. Each group had to come up with their own team name, determine a design and make a supply list in advance, and then they had 10 to 15 minutes to do the actual construction. Prizes were given out to the top three teams."

"My favorite team-building activity is setting up a cooking class, because it quickly brings the leaders to the forefront and teaches important concepts such as time management. Cooking as a group is an activity that can't help but foster patience and cooperation."

"I try to always include an aspect of corporate social responsibility in our events. My all-time favorite activity in this regard is Build-a-Bike, where participants perform tasks as a team in order to earn bicycle parts. When the bikes are completed, the team members present them to children from a local charity, as a surprise. It never fails -- when the kids get the bikes, there's not a dry eye in the room."
