For the second year, Meeting Professionals International will offer World Education Congress attendees the opportunity to receive free MyROI reports. A service developed by the makers of MeetingMetrics software, MyROI uses surveys to calculate an individual return on investment for every participating attendee of the WEC. The reports, based on the ROI Institute methodology, detail the results of each attendee's experience, including how they apply what they learned to their jobs as well as the impact of the event on subsequent achievements. The 12-page reports will be based on surveys taken four months after the event and, optionally, subsequent surveys made available six, eight and 10 months following the congress. A webcast explaining MyROI in more detail, as well as how best to prepare for the event in advance to achieve a higher return on investment, is available through MPI's Professional Development On Demand library (http://www.mpiweb.org/Portal/OnDemand ). Last year's WEC attendees who participated in MyROI achieved an average return on investment of 342 percent. The 2011 World Education Congress takes place July 23-36 in Orlando.
