The GBTA Foundation, the research and education arm of the Global Business Travel Association, released a new hotel request for proposal this week. The RFP, which will be available to GBTA members and their respective companies for the 2013 hotel negotiating season, is the result of an extensive review by the foundation and its international and technology task forces, the GBTA Hotel Committee and more than 50 international volunteers. According to the foundation, the RFP is now global, more efficient and easier to use; it quantifies vendor sustainability practices and incorporates web services functionality for data transfer automation. Hilton Worldwide sponsored the review process. GBTA members will be able to access the RFP beginning in October, at the GBTA Resource Library.
