The list

Here's what Google calculates to be the most popular websites of the past year based on "unique viewers" (as opposed to just a few people visiting multiple time), represented by the numbers in parentheses. So-called adult-oriented sites (ahem) don't count, and Google has taken itself out of the competition, whether out of modesty or some other reason that's not clear. To find out more about any of these sites…duh!
