The Ethisphere Institute, an international think tank devoted to the creation, advancement and sharing of best practices in business ethics, corporate social responsibility and sustainability, has announced its sixth annual selection of the world's most ethical companies. Designation is based on five main factors: A company's own ethics and compliance program; reputation, leadership and innovation; governance; corporate citizenship and responsibility, and culture of ethics. An advisory panel of attorneys, government officials, professors and organization leaders chooses among companies either nominated from outside or found from internal research. Highlighted are a record 145 organizations that show leadership in promoting ethical business standards, including the following five under the category of leisure/hospitality:

Holland America Line
Kimpton Hotels
Marriott International Inc.
The Rezidor Hotel Group
Seabourn
