The Henkelmanns purchased the 18-room Homestead Inn (boardroom pictured above) in Greenwich, Conn., in 1997 mainly as a showcase for German-born Thomas Henkelmann’s contemporary French cuisine. But the vessel proves just as magical as its contents, for the inn itself is as charming as the restaurant.
