Both Norwegian Cruise Line and Carnival Corp. have increased
their fuel surcharges again. For NCL trips booked on or after June
20, the first and second guests in a room will pay $11 per person,
per day and additional guests will pay $5 per person, per day. The
new fees also will apply to all group bookings made without
specific names or full confirming deposits booked prior to June 19.
On the six Carnival brands -- Carnival, Costa, Cunard, Holland
America, Princess and Seabourn -- passengers booking cruises on or
after June 12 will pay $9 per person, per day for the first and
second guests in a room, not to exceed $126 per person, per cruise.
Additional guests will pay $4 per person, per day, not to exceed
$56 per person, per cruise.
