The 250-room Seminole Hard Rock in
Tampa, Fla., now offers 700 Las Vegas-style, Class III slot
machines; a total of 1,600 machines will be available at the
property by June. The Hard Rock has been allowed to add the slots
as part of an agreement between Gov. Charlie Crist and the Seminole
Tribe of Florida that grants exclusive Class III gaming rights to
the tribe's seven hotel casinos in the state. The pact currently is
under review by the Florida Supreme Court.
